HFFF welcomes clay animator Teresa Drilling

The High Falls Film Festival and Animatus Studio present...

WALLACE, GROMIT, CHICKENS, RAISINS AND ME:
Teresa Drilling on Life as a Stop-Motion Animator

Sunday, November 13, Noon
Little Theater
240 East Avenue, Rochester
Admission $7.00, students $6.50

Fresh from her triumph as one of the principal animators for WALLACE & GROMIT: THE CURSE OF THE WERE-RABBIT, 20-year animation veteran Teresa Drilling will share the behind-the-scenes secrets of working with Aardman/Dreamworks on this wildly successful new film. Drilling has rubbed elbows with an odd cast of characters in her career: dancing raisins, talking potatoes, folded paper peppers, and stallions made of coal, not to mention our favorite cheese-loving inventor and his loyal canine pal. She's worked with advertising agencies J. Walter Thompson, NY; DDB Needham, SF; Grey London Ltd.; Foot, Cone & Belding, NY; and Young & Rubicam, NY for clients including Kellogg's, Clorox, Merck, Beecham's, Tropicana, Chili's Restaurants and Elizabeth Arden.

An upstate New York native and a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology, Drilling received an Emmy Award for Outstanding Individual Achievement in Animation for her work on Will Vinton’s CLAYMATION COMEDY OF HORRORS. Among her many crowning achievements are the "Cecille the Ball" series for SESAME STREET, a four-minute holiday sequence for ABC's HOME IMPROVEMENT, animated sequences in the 2003 feature film ELF, and her work as a key animator for CHICKEN RUN. This presentation is definitely appropriate for children!

Tickets are available from TicketWeb, either on-line at www.ticketweb.com or by phone at 866-468-7619. They will also be available at the Little Theatre one hour before show time.
